An experimental multimedia work consisting of combined audio and visual pieces together with a narrated text. The text is a short story that explores a possible outcome of AI-driven product recommendations as a constructed system evolves over time and achieves increasing levels of complexity. The final version will be narrated by a combination and synthesis of human and synthetic voices. The attached demo clips contain the synthetic voice. 

Various abstract video images and audio play throughout the narration, both evolving thematically with the story. The video explores the impact of ever-creeping technology on the human world through the medium of macro photography. By highlighting the sharpness and clarity of the logic of technology, contrasting with the deftness and delicacy of natural forms, a dialogue between these seemingly disparate elements emerges. The audio consists of experimental ambient and textural pieces that begin tonally cold and synthetic and become increasingly warm and organic, compositionally and instrumentally to further mirror the progression of the text’s narrative.

The project is in collaboration with Jan Hendrich, and narrated by Martina Avogadri.
